My True Story ...
Dear Friend,
I’ve been where you are, I had bad credit… very bad credit! We all have a story and here’s mine.
I was working for the Union as a carpenter apprentice back in the late 80’s. I was one month away from getting my journeymen’s card and just opened my own construction business. Things were great and life was good. Why am I telling you this?
My world came crashing down fast. It’s not funny when it happens to you and I believed it would not happen to me. Boy was I wrong.
I was hurt on the job doing construction and one month from that date on the way home from rehabilitation I was in a auto accident. I had two big insurance companies screw me to the wall.
The insurance company that was paying my workmen’s compensation told me that due to the auto accident, they were done with me. They told me to call my auto insurance company.
Then my auto insurance said that being that I was hurt before the accident happend and they could not tell how much more, denied my claim. So my world came to a screeching halt. Needless to say, I do not like big businesses, even to this day.
Well, I had no money coming in and was laid up for months. Bills came due. Then the calls started coming. Everyone wanted money and I had none to give. Late fees, missed payments, collections… etc. I’m sure you know the rest of the story.
When I got back to work I approached every credit repair service out there and they wanted a lot of money up front to fix my bad credit. Some wanted me to sign up with them and wanted to charge me monthly fees. Hey… when you have bad credit, you don’t have the extra money for these upfront or monthly fees.
Well, I’ll tell you I dug myself out of that hole and it took a long time to fix my bad credit. Months turned into years but I did it. I fixed my bad credit the hard way.
Now, for the last 15 years I’ve been in the mortgage business and I thought I had a story. But let me tell you, I’ve seen and heard everything when it comes to bad credit and lately things have been getting worse for people. I blame it on big companies shipping jobs over seas, but that’s another story, and that’s just my opinion.
Anyway, I knew I had to do something about helping people fix their bad credit. So I’m not going to sell you something that does not work. I know what I’m selling works. I helped build it.
